DENVER (KDVR) -- Cold weather is in store for Colorado this weekend, with up to 24 inches of snow possible in the mountains and up to 5 inches along the Front Range.The Colorado State Patrol says that some common cold-weather habits can increase the risk of motor vehicle theft. Why you shouldn’t wait to fill up your tires Here are some tips to avoid some of the habits that give thieves the opportunity to steal vehicles.Avoid "puffing"It's easy to want to warm up a vehicle before getting inside, but know that puffer vehicles are not only illegal in Colorado, but they are at greater risk of theft.Puffer vehicles are those that are started and left unattended to warm up before a driver or passenger enters. LEWISTON, Maine (AP) — Maine officials have lifted a shelter-in-place order as the search for the suspect in the Lewiston mass shooting continues.State Public Safety Commissioner Mike Sauschuck made the announcement Friday afternoon at a news conference in which he named all 18 victims of the mass shooting. The MIAA State Tournament will not include Bishop Fenwick.On Friday, the Essex Superior Court denied Bishop Fenwick’s request for a preliminary injunction that would have temporarily nullified the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association’s (MIAA) postseason ban on the school for the 2023-24 athletic year. Police reported a total of 70 arrests in four cities but not any fatalities. The unrest followed Thursday’s official validation of the election results, which gave the ruling Frelimo party victory in 64 out of 65 municipalities. A consortium of election observers had reported widespread ballot stuffing, voter intimidation and falsification of results in favor of Frelimo in the Oct. 11 elections.Demonstrators barricaded streets during the protests, which were concentrated in Mozambique’s capital, Maputo, and the northern cities of Nampula and Nacala.
